Victorian Antique Sterling Silver Sovereign Coin Case Box Holder 1896

Description

A beautiful English Victorian antique sterling silver sovereign case. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1896 with the makers marks being that of Alfred Wigley. It has been engraved with the initials CCF, FCC, CFC, FCC, as they are entwined. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs, the inside is clean and the lid closes securely and flips open when the button is depressed. It measures approx. 1.75 inches (4.8cm) including the loop by 0.5 inch (1.5cm) deep and weighs 22 grams. A very nice clean piece.
