Quality German Export Solid Silver Vinaigrette Box C1901 Antique

1900 - 1920
Description

A rare German antique solid silver vinaigrette box. It is hallmarked with the German crescent moon and crown mark, the 800 standard mark and the makers mark of Wilhelm Binder. It is also marked with the Austria-Hungarian import mark used from 1901 to 1921. It has been superbly designed and is in super condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs. The hinge is smooth and tight. It measures approx. 1.75 inches (4.7cm) across by 0.75 inch (1.9cm) wide by over 0.5 inch (1.5cm) tall and weighs 24 grams. A very high quality rare piece.
