Stunning Viscountess Sterling Silver Blue Enamel Pearls Jar Box Pot 1934 350g

Description

A beautiful rare Art Deco solid sterling silver glass and enamel dressing table box or pot. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1934 with the makers mark being that of Gieves Ltd. It has been beautifully made having an sterling silver and blue enamelled lid with a cut glass bowl. Note the top is decorated with a pearl set coronet of a Viscount or Viscountess (there is one tiny stone missing on the right of the band). It is in super condition being free from dings splits and repairs. The enamel / glass is free from chips repairs and cracks. It measures approx. 4.5 inches (12cm) across by 2.25 inches (6cm) tall and weighs 350 grams complete. A beautifully designed impressive piece.
