Rare German Antique Solid Silver Boiled Egg Cutter Topper C1900 Antique Oddity

Description

A superb rare German 800 solid silver egg topper. It is hallmarked for with the German crescent moon and crown mark with the makers mark and the 800 standard mark. I would date it to c1900. It has been beautifully designed to pierce the top of your boiled egg allowing you to simply lift it off. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures approx. 3.75 inches (9.4cm) long by 2.25 inches (6cms) wide and weighs 34 grams. A beautiful rare piece.
