Superb English Sterling Silver Tyg Chalice Cup 1937 Sheffiled 96g Arts & Crafts

Description

A beautiful and very unusual English solid sterling silver chalice / beaker cup. It is hallmarked for Sheffield 1937 with the makers mark being that of Mappin & Webb Ltd. It has a superbly made being with three handles and is lightly gilded inside. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs, just polishing lines. It measures approx. 2.75 inches (7.2cm) tall by 2.25 inches (5.6cm) across the rim by 1.5 inches (3.8cm) across the base and weighs 96 grams. A beautifully made high quality piece.
