This ring is clearly hallmarked and it was manufactured in Birmingham, England.
The year of manufacture can clearly be identified as 1897.
There is a beautiful inscription in the ring which is dated 1908.
The inscription reads AH to JB 25:12:08.
So I assume there was a celebration that Christmas Day.
The diagonally set stones comprise of three round cut sapphires with a beautiful deep hue. Interspaced by two brilliant cut diamonds.
The ring has elaborate scroll work and it’s 18ct yellow gold.
