Description

A superb rare English solid sterling silver desk top drum inkwell. It is hallmarked for London 1920 with the makers marks being C&R Comyns (William Comyns). It has a simple Georgian drum shape and retains its original chip free glass liner. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures 2.25 inches (5.5cm) tall by 2.25 inches (6cm) wide and weighs a very impressive 204 grams including the liner and 154 grams excluding it. A top quality impressive piece.
