A very unusual hinged front English antique solid sterling silver box. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1910 with the makers marks being that of Levi & Salaman. It has been unusually made with the lid and front of the box being hinged, possibly for toothpicks? It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs, the inside is clean and gilded and the lid closes securely. It measures approx. 3 inches (7.8cm) across by 1 inch (2.6cm) wide by 0.75 inch (2cm) tall and weighs 38 grams. A very unusual piece.
