Ceylon Nadaraja Press Solid Silver Table Box Tea Caddy C1920 Antique 150g

Description

A beautiful rare solid silver Indian Ceylon table box or tea caddy. It is unmarked but tests as high grade silver. I would date it to c1920. It has been beautifully hand made being embossed and chased with animals. It has been engraved to the lid 'WITH THE COMPLIMENTS OF THE NADARAJA PRESS COLOMBO CEYLON'. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs. It measures approx. 4 inches (10.2cm) tall by 2.75 inches (7.2cm) across and weighs 150 grams. A superbly designed beautiful example.
