Mint Beautiful English Sterling Silver Punch Ladle 1783 Georgian Antique

Description

A rare mint English Georgian antique solid sterling silver punch ladle. It is hallmarked for London 1783 with the makers mark being that of Thomas Shepherd. It has been beautifully made having a wooden turned handle and the bowl embossed with a flowers design. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs, the handle is firm and free from chips cracks and repairs. There are initials on the base. It measures approx. 12.25 inches (31.6cm) long by 3.5 inches (8.8cm) wide and weighs 50 grams. A very nice quality example.
