Lentaigne Family Crested Sterling Silver Skewer Letter Opener 1828 Antique 104g

Description

A super quality English George IV antique solid sterling silver skewer / letter opener. It is hallmarked for London 1828 with the maker’s marks being that John Harris IV. It has been superb made being engraved with a crest and motto which I think is associated with the Lentaigne Family. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs. It measures approx. 11.25 inches (28.5cm) long by 1 inch (2.6cm) wide and weighs 104 grams. A very high quality piece.
