Very Rare Solid Silver Enamel Egyptian Bookmark Page Marker C1920s Antique

Description

A beautiful antique solid silver bookmark or page maker. It is hallmarked with the 835 or 935 (possibly Scandinavian made) standard mark and tests as high grade silver. I would date it to c1920s and the discovery of Tutankhamun which created a crazy for such styles. It has been superbly designed with terminal being in the form of an Egyptian mummy's casket (it doesn't open, it's solid). It is in super condition being free from dings splits chips and repairs. It measures approx. 3.25 inches (8.2cm) long by 0.5 inch (1.3cm) wide and weighs 3 grams. A beautifully designed example.
