Solid Silver Hip Flask by James Dixon & Sons

1940 - 1960
Description

A quality solid silver and leather skin mounted hip flask by James Dixon & Sons, hallmarked Sheffield 1961, complete with removable silver gilt drinking cup.

The twist and lift opening mechanism to the lid is lined with the original cork; the whole piece looks like it has never been filled with liquid; the cork looks like it has never been wetted. All hallmarks and original as expected.

A good large example, in excellent condition, apparently unused.
