An 18thc George III silver soup ladle with hallmarks for London 1772 and makers mark for Thomas Chawner. The ladle is made in the Old English pattern and has a beautiful shell shaped bowl. The tip of the handle bears a monogram within an elaborate bright cut border, providing a connection to the original owner. Excellent condition. Weight 5.5oz/180gr.
