Antique Aquamarine & Seed Pearl Set Pendant Marked 9ct

1900 - 1920
Description

A lovely fine Edwardian aquamarine & seed pearl set pendant, marked as 9ct gold with a yellow gold 18" 9ct gold chain.

 

The setting is a lovely warm gold, shaped as a fancy filigree oblong frame within which there is suspended a gorgeous pale blue aquamarine. This oval faceted aquamarine is styled as a flower drop with two small leaves, each set with a seed pearl. There is a single pearl drop at the base of the setting, adding more interest and movement. This pearl has been replaced at some point.

The pendant is marked 9c and the chain 375, both marks for 9ct gold

 

A delightful pendant with lots of movement and charm.

 

Measurements: Length including hasp 3.7 cm Width 1.7cm Weight: 2.06 grams
