Antique George V Sterling Silver 'Birds' Purse 1916

1900 - 1920
Description

This is a beautiful antique sterling silver hallmarked purse measuring 4" (10 cm) across x just over 3" (8 cm) and hallmarked for Birmingham 1916 with the silversmiths mark for Joseph Gloster Ltd.

It has a pretty decoration of a bird on a branch of leaves and there are no inscriptions or monograms.

The inside is lined in a brown leather material and the whole item inside and out is in great condition (any marks you can see are just reflections)

This lovely purse will come in a gift box with a certificate of authenticity.
