Impressive French Bronze Putti Candelabra After Clodion

Description

A fine quality pair of 19th century Louis XVI style candelabra each modelled as a putti with hoof feet holding a trumpet lily spray in each hand, after the work by Clodion (Claude Michele) 1738 – 1814. They each stand supported on a rouge marble and gilt bronze plinth.

In superb condition throughout; a beautiful pair.
