Description

Late Victorian English silver Aesthetic Movement brooch engraved with mounted enamel nesting bird, circa 1890.

A plump little enamelled Bullfinch, bringer of good fortune, sits on the nest within a plain gold ring frame.

The separately made enamelled bird is pinned in place on the back next to the makers mark E&B

Some surface wear to the black enamel, otherwise in very good, bright, sound condition, ready to wear.

Guaranteed solid silver and gold.

Diameter 1,1/2" or 36.7mm, weight 8.4 grams.
