The Patented Mobile Reading Lamp. Circa 1900

A rare and useful antique designed to saddle an arm of your chair.
 
Silver plated with a small shell shade and weighted Bottle Green leather saddle strap. The lamp holder with adjustable knuckle for directing the light. Stamped PRQ. PAT. 32950/25 and additionally stamped to the base R 96287.
 
Re wired and PAT safety tested. Height when in upright position 23cm. Total width of leather strap 45cm.
