Beautiful Rare French Sterling Silver Snuff Box C1860-1870 Antique

Description

A beautiful rare French solid sterling silver snuff box. It is hallmarked with the French 925 standard Minerva head mark along with a makers mark. I would date it to the 1860s-1870's. It has been beautifully designed and has a vacant cartouche. The inside has been richly gilded. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs, the inside is clean and the lid closes tightly. It measures approx. 2.25 inches (5.6cm) across by 1.25 inches (3cm) wide by 0.75 inch (1.9cm) tall and weighs 26 grams. A very high quality example.
