A Delightful Georgian Small Silver Chamber Stick

A delightful example of late Georgian domestic ware. This charming piece is a small chamber stick , sometimes called a go-to-bed and is designed in the naturalistic taste. It has a leaf shaped base with grapes and acanthus leaves. There is a removable sconce, suitable for holding a small candle. The handle is looped and has a vine leaf motif. The original attached snuffer is still present. An interesting and unusual item. Dimensions below.
