Description

A large example, measuring 10" in length with a glass diameter measuring 4".

The antler horn handle is finished with a solid or sterling silver terminal , highly decorative and the hallmark struck in Sheffield, the date letter is rubbed but there is a diamond-shaped English design registration lozenge which dates to pre-1883.

The ferrule too is sterling silver which attaches to the nickel framed glass which is of course new, making it very usable piece, without damage, clear and with a good magnification.

A superb, grand and impressive desk accessory in excellent condition.
