A fine and elegant example of a Victorian rosewood stool. The stool has the most stylish cabriole legs in the French Hepplewhite manner. The stool has been newly upholstered in teal velvet with complimentary braid edging, all is in excellent condition. The whole has a great colour and untouched patina and is an extremely decorative and usable piece. C.1840.
