A superb, traditional style silver twin handled sugar bowl. The bowl stands on an oval flat base with two loop handles. The edge of the bowl has a reeded edge & the interior is beautifully gilded. With no engravings or embossing, it is a gorgeous plain polished silver.
Hallmarks: clear hallmarks are visible on one side next to a handle, for the London Assay Office with a date mark for 1907 and Lion Passant indicating the finest sterling silver. The maker''s mark is also very clear: The Alexander Clark Manufacturing Co.
A particularly nice piece, in great condition with only a couple tiny indentations to the polished surface which are mentioned for accuracy.
