A fine and unusual pair of silver and mother of pearl knife rests of winged design. The pair have weighted silver bases and beautifully carved and shaped mother of pearl wings. Both are fully hallmarked for James Dixon and Sons Ltd, Sheffield, 1918. The pair are in excellent condition and still in the original box which is also in very good condition. A stylish and unusual pair of period silver pieces.
Overall sizes in inches, box: 7 wide by 2 ¼ high by 2 ¾ deep
Actual individual pieces: 3 wide, 1 5/8 deep, 1 ¾ high
