A Rare 18th Century Silver 'Kyan' Bottle Ticket

A delightful and rare example of Georgian silver tableware, dating from the late 18th Century. This is a kidney shaped silver label for a condiment bottle. This fine example is for Cayenne pepper and in Georgian times cruets were large, impressive structures, containing many bottles for various table condiments. The spelling is unusual, being 'Kyan' and therefore particularly interesting to collectors. Others found are soy, ketchup and several more. Dimensions below.
