Antique tortoiseshell Victorian rare earrings inlayed with silver and gold with silver hooks,.

Pique jewellery is the use of tortoiseshell being inlayed with gold and silver with some of the most beautiful designs around.

Typical of the 1800's, these particular pair of pique earrings would date from the 1870's and measure 1.6cm across. The earrings measure 3.5cm in length, and sit perfectly on the ear. In fair antique condition as images show. the reverse of the earring is worn a little as shown on the picture, probably from sitting against the person wearing them this is not seen from the front when on. Priced accordingly for the wear.
