Rare Sterling Silver Crested Shaving Soap Box Stick Tube 1925 Antique

1900 - 1920
Description

A rare English antique solid sterling silver shaving soap box. It is hallmarked for London 1925 with the makers marks being difficult to decipher but most likely Finnigans Limited. It has been superbly designed having a movable disc base so the soap stick can be pushed up as required, it still retains its original soap stick, unused, so you can actually smell the 1920's. It has been engraved with a family coat of arms. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs. It measures approx. 3 inches (8cm) long by over 1.25 inches (3.6cm) wide and weighs 54 grams. A very high quality rare and unusual piece.
