Description

Here we have a stunning quality dressing table box in Kingwood and brass inlay, upon opening the plush blue fitted interior houses many silver topped glass jars along with an inkwell and pounce pot, the jars all have their original and undamaged glass stoppers and the silver is hallmarked for London 1826 and Archibald Douglas, inside the lid is a drop down correspondence pocket and behind that is a lift out stand alone easel backed mirror, the central section of the fitted case houses a manicure set in mother of pearl along with a pen and a corkscrew, the lower lockable drawer has a lift out jewellery tray.

On each side there are brass carry handles and the Bramah lock and keys are fully working, this is an exceptional piece and would grace any collection.
