H. CHENOT

VASE / PLANTER, CIRCA 1900

In lead / lead alloy naturalistic with a woman's head in relief.

Signed on body H.Chenot. Height: 47cm (losses to rear of base). Zinc liner required. Provenance: Prof. John Hedgecoe Oxnead Hall, by descent. Family owned over sixty years. Hedgecoe photographed the queen for the stamp. also running the photography department of the Royal College of art over thirty years. This planter used as a prop in many photographs as can be seen from topfoto.
