American Antique Sterling Silver Tobacco, Snuff, Table Box C1910

Description

A stylish American antique solid sterling silver tobacco, snuff, or table box. It is hallmarked STERLING along with the makers mark of William B Kerr & Co who were active in Newark, New Jersey c1880 to 1927. It has been stylishly made having with the lid being engraved AML. The inside has been richly gilded. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs, the inside is clean and the lid closes tightly. There are old insurance ID marks engraved inside. It measures approx. 2.75 inches (7cm) across by 2 inches (5cm) wide by 0.75 inch (1.9cm) tall and weighs 48 grams. A very high quality example.
