Description

A beautiful rare Art Deco solid sterling silver glass and enamel dressing table box or pot. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1950 with the makers mark being that of Henry Clifford Davis, it is also marked Finnigan's Ltd. It has been beautifully made having an sterling silver and white enamelled lid with a cut glass bowl. The lid twisted on securely as it has lugs. It is in very good condition being free from dings splits and repairs. The enamel is complete and free from chips repairs and cracks, as is the glass. It measures approx. 2.5 inches (6.5cm) across by 1.5 inches (3.8cm) tall and weighs 126 grams complete. A beautifully designed piece.
