Rare Georgian Sterling Silver Nutmeg Grater Box 1806 Antique

Description

A rare Georgian English antique sterling silver nutmeg grater. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1806 with the makers mark being that of Joseph Willmore. It has been superbly designed and is in super condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs, the odd faint mark. The hinge is smooth and tight. It measures approx. 1.5 inches (4cm) across by 1.25 inches (2.8cm) wide by over 0.75 inch (2.1cm) tall and weighs 28 grams. A very high quality rare piece.
