Antique Silver Pin Cushion - Lion

Description

This is a rare item. An antique sterling silver pin cushion, dating from the end of the Edwardian era and fashioned as a lion.

He is clearly hallmarked for Birmingham 1908 with the maker's mark of Adie & Lovekin Ltd.

Realistically cast in a standing pose with finely detailed mane and body. The cushion looks to be original and is a purple velvet.

Dimensions:

Length: 7cm

Width: 2.5cm

Height: 5.5cm.
