Novelty Solid Silver Canoe Pin Cushion Sewing Needlework Antique 1899 Victorian

Description

A rare novelty Victorian solid silver canoe. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1899 with the makers marks being CS FS. It was most likely a pin cushion but would of course need refilling with a fabric cushion. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes distortions and repairs. It measures approx. 3 inches (7.8cms) long by 1 inch (2.8cms) tall by a touch more wide and weighs 17 grams. A rare and unusual example.
