Beautiful Ceylon Sri Lanka Indian Solid Silver Snuff Box C1920 Antique 50g

Description

A beautiful solid silver Indian or Ceylon box. It is unmarked but tests as high grade silver. I would date it to c1920. It has been beautifully hand made being embossed and chased with scrolls and flowers. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs. To open it you gently squeeze the sides. It measures approx. 2.75 inches (7cm) across by 2.5 inches (6cm) wide by 1 inch (2.6cm) tall and weighs 50 grams. A superbly designed beautiful example.
