Antique Victorian Period English Silver Plated Wine Bottle Holder / Tall Deep Coaster ~ Very Attractive Pierced Fretwork Body with Vacant Cartouche ~ Highly Ornate Cast Rim ~ Turned Fruitwood Base with Decorative Central Silver Plated Button

c.1850

Condition: Most of the silver plate has rubbed with age, revealing the beautiful soft subtle golden-toned base metal. Apart from that, it is in absolutely excellent condition with no damage, dints, dents, bends or pitting. The silver plated button to the base still retains its plate. The turned wooden base is in very good order with a nourished appearance. All aspects are original. The base underneath is in superb order.

Height: 10.75cm

Diameter overall approx: 13cm

Diameter at neck internally: 9.25cm

Diameter of narrowest point internally: 8.5cm

Weight: 466g
