Art Deco Silver Pendant Locket Marked Silver On 18" Chain

A very stylish Art Deco solid silver locket. The geometric circular design with triangular detail is so iconically deco in shape and pattern, as is the smart engine turned engraved pattern incorporating straight and wavy lines. Perfectly sized for carrying photo or keepsakes.
The locket is quite unusual in opening at the bottom with the hinge at the top. The front opens and closes perfectly and opens to reveal a circular frame for placing photos inside. The back is marked Silver and there is a maker''s mark: Herbert Bushell & Son Ltd. It hangs on an18 inch chain marked 925 for sterling silver.
Unusual and rare, fabulous as a gift, especially for a lover of the Art Deco style. It is in super condition. Period c. 1930''s
