An exceptional quality bronze, of standing Emperor Napoleon figure.
Set on a bronze mounted column of sienna marble base.
Fine detail and excellent patina.
The plaque to base states - ‘Il sut vivre en heros et mourir en grand homme‘, which translates to; He lived as a hero and died a great man.
French, circa 1830.
