Rare English Solid Sterling Silver Letter Box Money Box 1937 Art Deco 124g

Description

A very rare English solid sterling silver money box. It is hallmarked for Chester 1937 with the makers marks being rubbed. It has been superbly designed being in the form of a letter box. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs. It measures approx. 4 inches (10.2cm) tall by 2.25 inches (5.6cm) across the top by almost 2 inches (4.8cm) across the base and weighs 124 grams. A very well made quality piece.
