A wonderful Georgian silver white wine label with pierced border and engraved lettering. Shaped elegantly and neatly sized, with square off corners and curved to fit a wine bottle, this label is a nice example: white wine labels can be harder to find than other labels of the period such as sherry, whiskey, port and claret.
Clearly hallmarked for London 1791 and the makers Thomas Phipps & Edward Robinson
