Antique Silver Photograph Frame Hallmarked Birmingham 1914

Description

Antique silver photograph frame hallmarked Birmingham 1914 by maker Charles Edwin Turner. A nice simple frame with plain polished silver surround, very much of the period, with a solid wood back and stand.

The smooth silver wraps around the sides. It has a few ripples where it is not quite flush with the glass, and the shine in the photographs has exaggerated this. There are a couple of tiny dints to the bottom edge but generally this charming frame is in good antique condition.

Measurements: 15.2 x 10.2 cm (6" x 4") external. Aperture size 14 x 9cm. Weight: 152 grams
