A fine Art Nouveau design silver photo frame by Selfridges. The design is typically Art Nouveau with whiplash curves and scrolling flowers that look to be forget-me-nots. The piece is in silver mounted onto a solid oak base and with an oak easel stand. The whole is in good condition with the usual wear in places and the odd mark. The frame is full hallmarked with good clear marks for Selfridge & Co Ltd, Birmingham, 1909. The whole has a great period look and is a beautiful example of the Art Nouveau period in this country as well as being a fine example of a silver frame.
