Prior". It has a clasp which then opens to a red lined interior complete with metal pencil, writing board and various silk lined pouches.
It is clearly hallmarked for Birmingham, 1906, Joseph Glaster and it weighs 118g.
It is in good condition for its age. There are some general signs of age and use and some small dinks and light surface marks but nothing detrimental and no major damages. There is some wear to the interior but in general it is clean and tidy and overall it displays very well.
