A fine antique George V sterling silver basting/serving spoon which has been designed in the rat tail style with a long well balanced handle and a good sized bowl perfect for serving food. This well made silver basting spoon would be ideal to use and would fit in well with a rat tail canteen. It remains in excellent condition.

Length: 30 cms (12")

Width of bowl: 5.7 cms (2.3")

Weight: 6.5 troy ounces (203 grams)

It was hallmarked in Sheffield for 1918 by Walker & Hall.
