Woodbridge Antiques has dated this piece to the 1930s.
The twin handles exhibit Art Deco style, with squared edges and a good solid shape. This trophy cup benefits greatly from having its own stand, which the cup fits into nicely, and from the body of the cup being undecorated, making it is perfect for use in a sporting club or to commemorate special events or achievements with your own engraving. The trophy cup is in very good condition. The black stand has a few very minor scuffs.

Hallmarks for the Birmingham Assay Office, 1934, the lion passant indicating sterling silver, and makers marks for S Blanckensee and Son Ltd are clearly shown on the cup.
