Victorian English Sterling Silver Fox Hunting Scene Dish 1882 Antique

Description

A rare English Victorian antique solid sterling silver dish. It is hallmarked for London 1882 with the makers marks being that of Rosenthal, Jacob & Co (Julius (Judah) Rosenthal & Samuel Jacob). It has been superbly designed being embossed with a fox hunting scene. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs. It measures approx. 5.75 inches (14.8cm) across by 3.25 inches (8.5cm) wide by 0.5 inch (1.6cm) tall and weighs 48 grams. A very good quality rare piece.

The Silver Squirrel has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
