Antique George V Sterling Silver Hip Flask - 1924

Description

An antique George V sterling silver hip flask which has a plain rectangular shaped body with a slightly concaved body, so that it can fit comfortably in the pocket, a removable cup for drinking purposes and a hinged lid with a bayonet style fitting to keep the liquid tight and secure. This silver hip flask has been made to a high standard and remains in excellent condition. It would make an acceptable gift.

Length: 11.8 cms (4.6")

Width: 6.7 cms (2.7")

Depth: 2.7 cms (1.1")

Weight: 5.2 troy ounces (161 grams)

It was hallmarked in London for 1924 by Mappin & Webb.
