Hester Bateman Georgian Solid Sterling Silver Serving Spoons 1790 Antique 128g

Description

A superb rare pair of English Georgian antique solid sterling silver serving spoons. They are hallmarked for London 1790 with the maker's mark being that of Hester Bateman. They have been well made to what is termed Old English pattern and have been superbly engraved with flowers and the cartouches have been engraved with the single initial R. They are in super condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs. They measure approx. 8.75 inches (22cm) long by 1.75 inches (4.6cm) wide and have a combined weight of 128 grams. A very nice quality set.
