Irish 18th Century Antique Rushlight -Very Good Example

This is an original Georgian Irish antique iron rushlight, as opposed to the multitude of fakes out there. This is a super example and features a twisted stem on a crown base with a rush nip and candle holder. A more useful model for today with having a candle holder rather than just a counter weight. In great, complete condition, a lovely primitive form of Irish antique lighting that dates to around 1770.
